Sonia Rykiel For H&M!

Just in time for Christmas, H&M has announced its latest designer collaboration: Sonia Rykiel for H&M. And for the first time, this collection will be lead by lingerie. The lingerie collection will launch in H&M stores Dec. 5 and — another first — will be available in Sonia Rykiel boutiques around the world. The "Queen of Knits" will then release a second collection featuring an iconic knitwear collection for women and girls as well as playful accessories on Feb. 20, 2010.

"It is a hallmark of Sonia Rykiel to think of all women because fashion is about a certain spirit more than a question of means. This collaboration fits perfectly with our philosophy. The Sonia Rykiel pour H&M lingerie collection is the ideal way to offer the essence of Rykiel to a great number of women around the world, and a beautiful way to close the year. The knitwear collection is perfect for welcoming a colourful new season,” says Nathalie Rykiel, president and artistic director of Sonia Rykiel, in a recent news release. Something to look forward to!

2010 Spring Milan Fashion Week: Dolce & Gabbana

It was all about passion and romance at Dolce & Gabbana's Spring showing at Milan Fashion Week. Showing utmost creative capability, the designers made a heavenly mix of sexy menswear-inspired suits, lace dresses, floral-printed separates, blouson shorts, and tiered frocks. "[The collection] is sexy, but not too sexy. . . . We're talking about sensuality," said Domenico Dolce. And that they did via bold, leopard prints, scintillating corsets, and a slick play on see-through dressing via black netting and mesh.

FASHION NIGHT OUT at Victoria Secret's

Looking ravishing in a bright color block combo, Miranda Kerr lit up the room at Victoria's Secret Lexington Store during Fashion's Night Out on September 10 in NYC.
MK hosted VS's event in a fiery red bandage skirt and loose plum tank with nude peeptoes (to nab the contrasting look try Black Halo's Colorblock Michelle Mini Dress in Poppy/Ocean or Suzabelle's Sutton Pencil Skirt in Midnight Blue with Rebecca Taylor's Rosette Cami in Amethyst). Miranda completed the look with perfect glossy curls, light make-up and a skinny silver bangle (try Erica Anenberg's Love At First Sight Cuff in Sterling Silver).
What do you think of MK's attire? Personaly I think it rocks!

Sartorial queen Anna Wintour is the force behind Fashion's Night Out, a collaboration between Vogue and the CFDA to unite retailers in 12 majors cities worldwide to open their doors until 11pm to give shoppers a taste of new fall arrivals. In New York alone there were over 700 events drawing hordes of fashionistas, celebs, and curious shoppers to venues boasting live music, exotic apps and special events like Chanel's first-time-ever offer to create your own personalized classic quilted bag, with lambskin, lining, hardware and chain colors of your choice, and your monogram making it official.
Were any of you able to make it to these events in LA, NY or London?

LAUREN CONRAD FOR KOHL'S

Personally I don't dig Kohl's...If I need discount shopping I usually had over to my trusted Forever 21 , Joyce Lesile, or Target... but whatever floats your boat... so anyway Lauren Conrad was photographed at the Kate Somerville Emmy Gifting Suite Event in Los Angeles, September 18, mingling with skin expert Somerville while scooping up her luxe products. Lauren, looking polished as always, started with a loose golden tunic (for two similar frocks, try Juicy Couture's Jackie Ruffle Dress in Beausoleil or Ingwa Melero's intricate Charmeause Lotus Mini Dress in Chartreuse - or for similar silhouettes in different shades, check out Velvet's comfortable Charonna Dress in Brown or 12th Street by Cynthia Vincent's absolutely beautiful Beaded Neck Dress in Grey) that she belted (similar to Julie K Handbags' Tess Belt in Golden) and paired with delicate heels, a gold bangle (take a look at Rachel Leigh Jewelry's Sweet Tooth Bangle in Gold) and her signature single hair braid. What are your thoughts on Lauren's look here - basic, yes... but pretty, no?
Lauren was spotted earlier in Santa Monica participating in a Kohl's Department Store-sponsored beach clean up, and I can only assume she was there for one of two reasons. The first, that she actually cares about keeping our beaches clean (she did grow up on the beach in Laguna, after all) - and the second, that she was contractually obliged to be there, due to the fact that she just released her new clothing line at Kohl's.

Lauren tells Us Weekly that her new line is "a little more casual... trying to take that California style and make it accessible everywhere." A rep from the department store added in "We are confident the LC Lauren Conrad collection brings customers both the contemporary style and the world-class brand." While the collection contains mostly skinny jeans, flowy tops, and pretty dresses, do you have any interest in checking it out? Meaning venture into a Kohl's?

Agent Provocateur Spring 2010

With the larger Spring 2010 catwalks consuming much of our day, it's quite easy to forget about the more intimate affairs of a fashion week that quite often present the work from equally talented, yet less funded, designers. With Agent Provocateur's Spring 2010 catwalk, however, the word intimate may definitely apply but scant clothing is to be found. I love!!

AUDRINA PATRIDGE IN DIVINE RIGHTS OF DENIM

Audrina Patridge was present in Vegas at the Magic Marketplace tradeshow promoting the Divine Rights of Denim line. Retailers are hoping for a turnaround in the recession as this years tradeshow is busier than last. The Hills and Sorority Row "actress" stood alongside designer Rokhsan Enanoria (Patridge is the face, not the designer of the brand) wearing what else but Divine Rights of Denim.

ALINA JEANS

After a year of development the new premium denim women's line Alina Jeans recently launched at Project Las Vegas with their Dirty Summer 2010 collection.
Alina Jeans are made from premium Italian denim and each pair is handmade in downtown L.A.! Inspired by Venice Beach, the collection's creative designer Alina Stefanescu says: "This is a collection you could be shipwrecked in and still look sexy. Lots of distressing, gorgeous bleaches and a 'dirty' feel." Which I adore! I love the hot mess look... with a side of rocker appeal...

Burberry Black Label 2009 Fall/Winter Photoshoot

Burberry’s Japan-exclusive line ‘Black Label’ has released pictures of it’s latest collection for Autumn/Winter ’09 entitled ‘A Portrait in Black’. Once again Black label delivers an elegant collection, this time offering a series of jackets and suits. Whilst the aesthetic is generally formal, there are a few more casual jackets, no more so than the pink quilted number. As always, despite the British tone to the collection, its release will be limited to Japan.
