W Showroom has been on the road for almost 1 month... yes, we want to lose our minds but we are meeting tons of peeps and even having some fun along the way! We see slews of brands, tons of buyer, and we love it. We have 12+ brands in our showroom and bring them all over the USA. Right now we are in Texas.. Dallas Ya'll! We got a shout out in a popular Fashion Industry mag, WWD.

"In other DMC news, Scene has grown to 80 booths, including eight for W Showroom, whose labels include Gold Tag Denim, Parasuco, Civil Society and RPGene.

The venue also has 500 permanent showrooms and Temporaries on 12, with 150 booths including young contemporary resources, cowboy boots and novelties."

When W Showroom comes to a show we come strong!

Nicole Richie Designs New Contemporary Line!

Yay my fav Nicole Richie is starting a line!

Nicole Richie is a new mom again, but that's not stopping her from expanding her fashion empire. Along with House of Harlow 1960 and a maternity line for A Pea in the Pod, she is designing a women's contemporary line called Winter Kate (Harlow's middle names). The 37-piece collection, which was inspired by peacocks and other birds, includes tops, vests, bed jackets, and dresses — mini, long slip-style, and kimono-sleeve maxis.

"Fashion should be accessible. That was my philosophy when designing House of Harlow 1960 and it remains my philosophy for Winter Kate," she said. Prices start at $35 and go up to $598 for leather pieces. Look out for the line in February at stores like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Intermix, and Kitson.

You’ll See It Everywhere

Every summer has its wardrobe: a few pieces that catch on and suddenly define the season (gladiator sandals, anybody?). We’ve sifted through the trends and determined what we’ll all be seeing, in some form, for the next four months.

Round Sunglasses
Bangles
Studs
Plaid Shirts
Sparkles

I'm rocking pretty much all of those now! Except for the round Sunglasses...my head is too small for that look!

ATM’s D-List Judges

Excepting the often-random front rows at New York Fashion Week, we generally don't expect to see Kim Kardashian rubbing shoulders with beloved noted fashion photographer Nigel Barker, unless perhaps they are both attending a Hot People on Reality Shows convention. But there she was, sitting at the judging panel on last night's America's Next Top Model, even though her actual professional modeling experience is just about equal to theirs. Kim is the latest in an increasingly random selection of guest judges to appear on the five-seven-and-under cycle of ANTM, and in the vein of Carrie Bradshaw, we can't help but wonder: Is Tyra screwing with us?

What a muppet!

It's official - Lady Gaga is a muppet.

Although some might genuinely think this of the wacky songstress, I can't think of anyone more suitable to wear Jean-Charles de Castelbajac's autumn/winter 2009-10 collection. While in Germany this weekend, Gaga donned a fuzzy monster-style dress and a cape created from dead Kermits during a TV interview. But it was this complete tent ensemble that has left us most speechless. Has Gaga gone too far this time?

Megan Fox for Armani

We should have known something was up when Megan Fox appeared on the front row next to Cate Blanchett at the Armani Privecouture show in July. Now it has been confirmed that theTransformers star is Giorgio Armani's newest recruit.

Following in the footsteps of the Beckhams, Fox will front the ad campaigns forEmporio Armani Underwear, as well as Armani Jeans. She has been picked, along with soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo (yay!) who will represent men's Emporio Armani Underwear, to be the label's new ambassadors.

Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott last weekend, we will first get to see the ads when they are unveiled in January next year. With her look-a-like now in, I guess Angelina Jolie is definitely out then?

Look who has landed in Manhattan...

I never thought I'd see the day when Samantha Jones would be cavorting with the likes of a Disney starlet, but I guess that's show business for a powerhouse publicist like Miss Jones.

Spotted on set this week during the filming of Sex and the City 2, was Kim Cattrall and Miley Cyrus, who makes a cameo as herself. Not only were the duo happily posing for the paps, they were also wearing the exact, same thing (what the?!). They were dressed in identical sparkly Mathew Williamson mini dresses and matching brown boots. Curiouser and curiouser..

Mark Fast Does Topshoph

That rumor we spread about Mark Fast doing a line for Topshop?

It’s true. And it’s in last week’s Sunday Telegraphmagazine which means it was true before I even said anything.

The article about the Canadian “prairie boy” fills the reader in on his rise to design fame, pre-plus-size models, and how he left Canada for a coveted spot at Central Saint Martins under Louise Wilson’s tutelage. He’s since worked with Alber Elbaz and landed repeated NewGen sponsorship from Topshop.

Apparently the high street brand approached him before his SS10 show regarding a design collaboration. So those still wondering if the plus-size girls were just a press ploy can stop, because he obviously doesn’t need it.

Vanessa Abrams...Kick ass Wardrobe!

The juxtaposition between boho girl and rocker chick is perfect for a day of fashionable studying..I love it!

Beyonce Too Sexy For Malaysia

Beyonce won't be showing off her, um, leotards anytime soon in Malaysia. The singer has canceled her upcoming show in the predominately Muslim country because it has upset conservative Muslims who think her show is immoral. Although Beyonce is not subject to the country's Sharia courts and cannot be tried for moral offenses, her sexy dances and costumes would nevertheless cause some outrage. The country's Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party called for the cancellation because it would promote "Western sexy performances." Well they're right about that — Beyonce definitely puts on a sexy show. Considering a 32-year-old Malaysian model was recently sentenced to be caned for drinking a beer in a hotel nightclub, I'm not so surprised some people there aren'tready for Beyonce's jelly.

Scarlett Shows Off Mango's Newest Goodies

I can see why Scarlett Johansson's been busy jet-setting around the world to promote her latest ad campaign for Mango. The sexy actress looks sizzling hot showing off the Spanish retailer's array of minidresses, tailored blazers, perfectly ripped sweaters (my fave), and funky tunics. ScarJo's messy short bob has major ferosh factor and works in perfectly with Mango's hip offerings. I can't wait for that jewel-embellished miniskirt to hit stores!

Naomi and LV Show Off Their Charitable Side

Naomi Campbell might have had issues with anger management in the past, but she's putting all of that aside for charity. In support of The White Ribbon Alliance, a foundation dedicated to reducing maternal mortality, the Super collaborated with Louis Vuitton to sell this hunter green monogrammed Louis Vuitton bag ($2,800) — proceeds from sales will go to the foundation. People say fashion people don’t do anything. "We do a lot," said Campbell, who is the global ambassador for the foundation. The handbag will be available in March 2010.
