Denim devoted brand, G-Star showed in the Hammerstein Ballroom once again. Celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Taylor Momsen and Jared Leto had to be there! Models in all white denim emerged.

New William Rast Styles

William Rast has released new Men’s and Women’s styles for Spring 2009.
The collection features, tees, shorts, blazers, jackets and jeans.

The Scarlet Short (above) with cuffed shorts, come in two washes, Dark Handstand with holes and Pinstriped.
The Jerri Ultra Skinny leg jeans (above), which comes in two washes, Hematite and Dark Handstand wash again.

The Ben Straight Leg (above), which comes in six washes, Mockingbird, Evening Blue, Colt, Sitting Bull, Stallion wash, and White.

Cutoffs vs. Boyfriend Shorts

The warm weather brings with it a flood of cutoff shorts to our fair streets.
The perfect pair of cutoffs is that rare thing — distressed and faded just enough in just the right places.

You could purchase the perfect pair, like Current/Elliott’s rolled, stretch-denim cutoffs, for $187. But then you'd be that girl who paid $187 for shorts that look more fit for rubbing Pine-Sol on floorboards than serving as bottoms.

Style.com thinks paying $187 for those shorts is "nuts," too (way to go, Style.com!).

Also, the ideal pair of cutoffs is not bought, but salvaged from ugly old jeans one no longer wears. My mom taught me that trick when I was about 12... I think we all know it..
However it's difficult to fashion the perfect pair of cutoffs all on one's own.

But perhaps the bigger question of this most pertinent matter is why we are still trying to cut off our shorts? This was the big trend in bottoms last summer. I think it will always be a classic trend.. but it's nice to mix it up.. soooo Shouldn't we move on and latch onto a different trend?

Celebs are diggin Wildfox

Why is it every hot young thing in Hollywood is beyond obsessed with Wildfox? 

Is it the totally fly graphics? The uber cool slogans? Or is it the relaxed yet sexy fit? 

Clearly the correct answer is all of the above. 

Right now the reigning president of the Wildfox Fan club has got to be the coolest and hottest of them all, model, Alessandra Ambrosio.

Alessandra could wear Hanes and melt ice but opts instead for Wildfox.

She showed up at Coachella in the Hawk Feather Tank with the shortest of shorts and biker boots. Day two of the music fest, Wildfox’sArizona Crop tee, headscarf and studded cut-offs. And it’s not just concerts where she sports the foxy Wildfox- airport chic doesn’t lookbetter than Alessandra in Red Plaid leggings and the Only Rock Tee.

Alessandra may be Wildfox’s Queen Bee, but there are plenty of other hotties buzzing around. Aundrina and Ashley have been spotted in Love Potion #9 and Laguna Beach cutie Kristin Cavallari, sparkles in the Sparkle Heart Tee. Fergie works out in LeFreak Cest Chic tee and both HSM alums look too cool for school in the Light Feather Raglan tee.

LEVI'S RED Spring/Summer 2009 Collection

The new Levi's Red Spring/Summer '09 collection continues to push the boundaries of innovation while remaining true to the brand's heritage. Inspired by the craftsmanship of early denim workwear, this collection reflects the traditional construction process when fabric was precious and waste was not wasted. A minimum of 92% raw materials are used to product each individual garment with the remaining fabric being used to product collectible Levi's Red packaging. Due to this back-to-basics production technique, each denim garment is individual and unique. The collection features guys and girls and unisex styles. Made from double selvage fabric, the natural shade of the indigo with cotton hemp composition is unstructured. I love the slogan on the inside patch - "Not the cheapest but the best". How true.

Levis is making a comeback in the US market for sure!
