Yay Who doesn't love sexy classy women! :) Here's a vid just for fun...

Star Maternity Style Secrets

I am expecting so I love to see other hot soon to be mamas keep up with their style.. because I sure do! Who wants to be pregos and feeling bla! I think there is no excuse and keeping yourself together makes you feel better all around... anyway here is some secrets I go by... It's my first baby so I am learning as I go but this is what works for me thus far:

1: Shop Your Closet-
Raid your existing wardrobe for pieces that can fit your new shape. "Any open cardigans, long stretchy tunics and tees will continue to work for you," says Lori Soloman, owner of Veronique Maternity. Tent and empire-waist dresses are a natural transition piece, like the Black Halo number rocked by Nicole Richie.

2: Don't Forget to Be Sexy-
Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you need to cover up. "If you never had cleavage before, show it off with a sweetheart or deep-V neckline," says Soloman. Or play up a pair of fabulous legs, a la Heidi Klum, with a maternity minidress.

3: Don't Give Up On Belts-
Give shape to roomy pieces with a simple cinch. Jessica Alba transformed a voluminous Lanvin dress by adding a vintage belt above her tummy. "A belt below the belly also works well with fun tunics and long tees," says Soloman. Just don't go too tight!

4: Keep Your Edge-
Hip mamas don't need to ditch their style while expecting—Jennifer Lopez rocked simple print minidresses with outrageous footwear (over-the-knee boots, anyone?) well into her third trimester. Add flat boots to a tent dress for a more comfortable take on Lopez's outfit or look for the maternity equivalent to your own signature pieces. "Super-skinny jeans, layered tees and a blazer contribute to an edgier look," says Soloman.

5: Balance Your Belly With Statement Jewelry-
"Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize," says Soloman. "Jewelry always draws attention away from the bump and onto the neck and face." During her third pregnancy, Cate Blanchett attended the Oscars in a Dries Van Noten dress with a dramatic beaded neckline.

6: Find the Perfect Pair of Jeans-
Jennifer Garner paired James jeans with a flowing top for an easy silhouette. When choosing maternity denim, says Soloman, "Comfort is key, make sure you have enough hip space." Although the elastic panel at the waist will grow with you, it's best to wait until your second trimester before investing in a pair. Says Soloman: "Denim is one item that is difficult to buy early and keep through your whole term because it has less stretch then most other fabrics."

Jessica Simpson Is Ready to Learn The Price of Beauty

Jessica Simpson kept Daisy in her bag on the way out of lunch at Dos Caminos in NYC yesterday. She smiled for the cameras as she stepped out in bright blue with her doggie on one arm and purse on the other. This week we learned that Jessica's reality show, The Price of Beauty, is a go, so she'll be making her return to the small screen. Jessica has dabbled in just about everything as a performer, but we'll see if hosting this sort of show is where she finds her niche since, after all, she is expert at experiencing the critical side of fame.

Michael Jackson: Style Icon

Michael Jackson was more than the greatest musical legend of any recent generation; he was a fashion icon. He became known by one single accessory: the glove. And back in the day, that infamous red jacket was worn by many an older brother during their break-dancing phases. (And, if memories serve us, by Theodore Huxtable on The Cosby Show.) In later years, the military jackets and face masks would become his staples. Recently, Jackson became noted by the fashionable powers that be for his love of Balmain; the embellished jackets and grand price tags were just up his alley. He also signed on to do a fashion line with Christian Audigier, something that never came to fruition. So, as we mourn the loss of the King of Pop.

Remembering That Hair

Sure, Farrah Fawcett was the stuff teenage boys' dreams were made of. But for many girls, she embodied what we wanted most: perfect hair (not to mention being an Angel). Her feathered tresses launched a million blow-dryers, ushering in the era of the Farrah. The style was so iconic that many of us can't recall the late seventies without her trademark do. And though we've seen some celebrity styles become popular (the Rachel), none have had quite the impact as Ms. Fawcett's.

Playing bad boy Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl has turned the British actor into more than just another prime time heartthrob. Like his female co-stars, Ed Westwick has also been garnering the attention of the fashion industry. From his purple suits and ascots on-screen to his downtown cool street style, Ed has landed a campaign for K-Swiss and turned up for the ultimate fashion parties including the Met Costume Institute Gala. Now the sexy Brit is sitting pretty for GQ’s annual fall fashion spread. Gentlemen, take note, this is how to dress for the colder months. Check out Ed’s photo spread at GQ.com.

Nicole Richie Extending Brand to Include Shoes and Clothing

Nicole Richie has really made a name for herself in the fashion world with her jewelry collection. Richie launched her line, House of Harlow 1960 jewelry collection and it has become so popular that the stores carrying it have been selling out.
It has become so popular that Nicole has decided to extend her line to offer clothing and shoes. She will begin work for her second House of Harlow 1960 collection and this season she will have more material.
Even though her items have been so popular, she plans on switching it up next season. She says the new collection is “going to be a totally different line.”

Nicole says the next one “is focusing more on old English, equestrian and more sophisticated looks.” As for her shoe and clothing collection, Nicole says, “I’ve been working really hard on designing and picking the right fabrics for my Spring 2010 line.”
Stay tuned, we have a feeling this is just the beginning of Nicole Richie, the designer!

Confirmed: Gisele Bundchen Is Pregnant

Yay! More Pregos! I love it :)
Congrats to Gisele and Tom, who are expecting their first child together.
Gisele is "ecstatic" about the news. "Gisele will be an excellent mother," a source tells People. "She's always wanted kids."

Gisele has been talking a storm about babies all year, so it's no secret that she's been wanting to get pregnant. Earlier this year she made headlines when she claimed Tom's son John Edward Thomas was her own.
She told Vanity Fair, "I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it's not like because somebody else delivered him, that's not my child. I feel it is, 100 percent."

Maybe they were waiting until she was done with her first trimester before going public with the news? Whatever the case is, the cat is out of the bag now. Congrats to the couple! Do you think Gisele will make a good mother?

Fallen Princesses

These works place some of every girls and  boys Fairy Tale characters in modern day scenarios. In all of the images the Princess is placed in an environment that articulates her conflict. The ‘…happily ever after’ is replaced with a realistic outcome and addresses current issues. Let’s get real, this is great art.

"The project was inspired by my observation of three-year-old girls, who were developing an interest in Disney’s Fairy tales. As a new mother I have been able to get a close up look at the phenomenon of young girls fascinated with Princesses and their desire to dress up like them. The Disney versions almost always have sad beginning, with an overbearing female villain, and the end is predictably a happy one. The Prince usually saves the day and makes the victimized young beauty into a Princess."-By Dina Goldstein

Jimmy Choo for H&M

H&M just announced that it will be launching a new line of women and mens shoes and handbags with none other than Tamara Mellon, the founder of Jimmy Choo. I’m totally down for designer looking shoes and bags at affordable prices. High fashion on a budget sounds good to me.

Jewelry by Hello Drama

The brass knuckles, the skulls, the razors..oh you know! Total Hot Topic kind of stuff, but Hello Drama has a certain touch to their jewelry that sends a different message. Plus, their Channel look alike jewels are too cute! They are all fairly priced, starting from around $20-$38. I think their cute!

The Murse...the what?

Guys should be allowed to carry a messenger bag or even a satchel, but when a fella rocks any other kind of murse (man-purse), it gets frightening. Case in point: Snoop and Seal....just pushing it a bit too far i think... a little WACK :P

Your Truly Ara Posh...
love you haters xoxoxo

Elizabeth & James by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen

Elizabeth and James by the Olsen twins is actually pretty nice. Everything is lightweight with a nice fashion forward look that seems effortless. Their line definetly channels their own style with some vintage inspiration. They give us a mix of masculine and feminine, casual and dressy. They have menswear inspired blasers and button ups along with mini-dresses, jewelry, and shoes. Everything is pretty pricy, the above blazer is a near $400 but its absolutely stunning. Love the color.

No, American Apparel, I will not Buy Scrunchies

Scrunchies are just a throwback that I will not go back to. Who knows, maybe it’s a green way of saving fabrics, or just a horrible idea. You know some hipster out in Echo Park will buy them. Not me, not me...

Rants go!
“Did American Apparel really need so many kinds of scrunchies? Gold lamé scrunchies. Flourescent scrunchies. Nautical scrunchies. One would have been more than enough, but 407 different kinds of scrunchies is just bratty. And scrunchies are not a ‘throwback to every girl’s favorite ‘80s accessory.’”

Fashion Cupcakes! Too Pretty To Eat?

Remember those Chanel, LV, YSL, and Gucci lollipops? Well, here are some cupcakes that can really get your taste buds tingling. These cuppy cakes were shot by photographer Therese Aldgard and styled by Lisa Edsalv. Inspired by Betsey Johnson, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Christian Louboutin. Oh to die for! I could just put that whole Betsey cupcake in my mouth.
Just look at that cherry candy on top and the runts!

Louboutin Differa Heels

It’s true, I’ve seen more and more of these C.L Differa heels in the celebrity scene and on the red carpet. The Differa first landed on my radar when Heidi Klum wore them to the Golden Globes at the start of the year. Celebrities like Alexandra Burke, Jennifer Lopez, and Nicollette Sheridan to name a few. They were all over the place at the MTV Movie Awards, including Megan Fox. The many straps on the sandals make them leg lengthening and the chunky platform makes the heel manageable. It’s a Louboutin craze!

‘Louis Vuitton: Art, Fashion & Architecture’ to be Released

Louis Vuitton can now add ‘author’ to a long list of accomplishments. The high-end brand will be coming out with a book to give you a peek into the collaborative projects they have been involved with.

The book’s title is “Louis Vuitton: Art, Fashion And Architecture” and will be available for purchase on the Louis Vuitton website and in Louis Vuitton stores on September 1st, 2009. Make sure to take a look for the limited edition Takashi Murakami version of the book and at the above gallery for a sneak peek.

Trendspotting: Unicorns

Unicorn Ruffle Dress by People’s Market
Unicorns, who doesn’t love them? Here are some awesome unicorn’s in fashion. How fabulous is the unicorn swimsuit? I need it!

Rosenberger Sandal from Aldo

I am totally in love with these multi-colored gladiators from Aldo. Beyonce was spotted rockin' them and you can have them for only $75!
Yay Aldo!

Amanda Kain: Pocket Ace

Fast favorites among starlets like Sienna Miller, Rachel Bilson, and Kristen Stewart, last year’s Kain Label pocket tees and tanks are no fleeting trend. Just in time for summer, the Los Angeles boutique Vionnet is launching a limited-edition capsule collection of SoCal native Amanda Kain’s signature designs, but with their drapey pockets rendered in silk charmeuse. Available in white, black, mauve, and gray, they’re perfect under the season’s boyfriend blazers or topping one of the ubiquitous high-waisted skirts.

AnnaLynne McCord spotted in PRVCY

AnnaLynne McCord, the 90210 cutie was spotted heading to Eva Longoria’s West Hollywood hotspot Beso restaurant wearing PRVCY London Heart Skinny Jeans.

She's got a little Marilyn Monroe look going on here.. I think she looks fabulous and is put together really well! PRVCY has been all over Hollywood for some time and it seems to be trickling down to everyone.. Check out their site (which is amazing by the way) to see other styles, I am deff picking up a few!

Best Dressed at the MTV Movie Awards

While MTV Movie Awards honored a slew of our favorite Young Hollywood hotshots including Robert Pattinson, Kirsten Stewart, Zac Efron and Miley Cyrus, celebs of all stripes showed up to flaunt their fashion savvy on the red carpet. But whose look stole the show? Actress-turned-designer Sienna Miller sparkled in her own green sequined Twenty8Twelve design, proving that this style icon's star still shines bright.

Spotted: Queen B goes bold!
Shedding her headbands and bows, Leighton Meester's Emilio De La Morena cut-out dress and avant-garde purple Brian Atwood boots is definitely gossip worthy!

New Designers: Paige Gamble

Who: Paige Gamble, 30

What: Her namesake line of bench-made-in-Brooklyn exotic-skin clutches and totes

Why to buy: Gamble believes in building things to last. Her slender alligator clutches—made in rich colors inspired by Thai scarves—are treated to withstand disasters such as hot coffee spills and sloshed champagne.

Where to buy: By appointment at her Upper East Side atelier; Distractions, Aspen; Bellhaus, East Hampton, NY

Lightbulb moment: “While I was a trader at the Bank of New York, I fell in love with a turquoise beaded YSL minaudière. It was sold-out everywhere, so I decided to try to make my own. The rest, as they say…”

Inspiration: “My grandmother. She was always impeccably dressed. Her father was a senator, so she lived in Washington, DC—I just found out she dated Oleg Cassini!”

Extra touches: Gamble likes to travel. This means visiting an artisan in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, who dips fresh orchids in resin (later a flourish for an envelope clutch); discovering a “leather tattooer” in Wyoming; taking trips to China for hand-carved jade; and jetting to the Grand Palace in Bangkok for inspiration.

Fabric Trend - Denim

I absolutely love it when fashion websites, in this case Elle, focuses on a certian type of fabric. This web link features the all time favorite and totally wearable, denim.
Check out above to see some from the lists....
