FASHION NIGHT OUT at Victoria Secret's

Looking ravishing in a bright color block combo, Miranda Kerr lit up the room at Victoria's Secret Lexington Store during Fashion's Night Out on September 10 in NYC.
MK hosted VS's event in a fiery red bandage skirt and loose plum tank with nude peeptoes (to nab the contrasting look try Black Halo's Colorblock Michelle Mini Dress in Poppy/Ocean or Suzabelle's Sutton Pencil Skirt in Midnight Blue with Rebecca Taylor's Rosette Cami in Amethyst). Miranda completed the look with perfect glossy curls, light make-up and a skinny silver bangle (try Erica Anenberg's Love At First Sight Cuff in Sterling Silver).
What do you think of MK's attire? Personaly I think it rocks!

Sartorial queen Anna Wintour is the force behind Fashion's Night Out, a collaboration between Vogue and the CFDA to unite retailers in 12 majors cities worldwide to open their doors until 11pm to give shoppers a taste of new fall arrivals. In New York alone there were over 700 events drawing hordes of fashionistas, celebs, and curious shoppers to venues boasting live music, exotic apps and special events like Chanel's first-time-ever offer to create your own personalized classic quilted bag, with lambskin, lining, hardware and chain colors of your choice, and your monogram making it official.
Were any of you able to make it to these events in LA, NY or London?

Best Dressed at the MTV Movie Awards

While MTV Movie Awards honored a slew of our favorite Young Hollywood hotshots including Robert Pattinson, Kirsten Stewart, Zac Efron and Miley Cyrus, celebs of all stripes showed up to flaunt their fashion savvy on the red carpet. But whose look stole the show? Actress-turned-designer Sienna Miller sparkled in her own green sequined Twenty8Twelve design, proving that this style icon's star still shines bright.

Spotted: Queen B goes bold!
Shedding her headbands and bows, Leighton Meester's Emilio De La Morena cut-out dress and avant-garde purple Brian Atwood boots is definitely gossip worthy!

Rihanna's Red Carpet comeback at Costume Institute Gala 2009

Rihanna made her first red carpet appearance last night at the annual Met Gala benefit and, wow, what in the... I mean it is the Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum Gala.
So she was stunning... even with her 80's shoulder pads.

She wore a black silk Tuxedo inspired suit - Black capri pants, white dress shirt under a jacket with extra puffy shoulders and gathered sleeves and bow tie. She accessorized with stud earrings, leather gloves and black statement heels.

Her hair was swept to a side with prominent platinum blond highlights and she wore blue eye shadow that extended beyond her eyelids.

Rihanna later attended Marc Jacobs after-party at 'Monkey Bar' in New York City, where she hung out with Katy Perry.

Other celebrities at the event included Madonna, Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway, Eva Longoria with husband Tony Parker, Kate Beckinsale, Kate Moss, Jessica Biel with Justin Timberlake and Victoria Beckham.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the world's largest and most important art museums, located on the eastern edge of Central Park in Manhattan, New York.

Its Costume Institute contains more than 80,000 costumes and accessories. Due to the fragile nature of the items in the collection, the Costume Institute does not maintain a permanent installation. Instead, every year it holds two separate shows in the Met's galleries using costumes from its collection, with each show centering on a specific designer or theme.

Pete Wentz in Purple Diesel Denim

It's been two years since Pete Wentz and his business partners first opened the doors of their NYC bar, Angels & Kings. Pete did it up right on the anniversary for the Bar with some cake and drinks. He decided to wear a pair of purple Diesel jeans for the event. (top pic)
This can be pulled off by very few men.. but since he has such a rocker look, it works...
For women we can get away with (almost) anything! I am in love with red denim.. it looks super hot, Paige Premium has some kick ass colors to choose from... (bottom pic)

Hard 8 still a hard hitting men's line....

The Long Beach Toyota Grand Prix is an annual race for formula 1 cars & it's a big event in California... The guy who won the race was sporting a Hard 8 tee from their new line LA 90015 on his way back home in his private jet.
I have always loved the "Chosen" tee by Hard 8 and always wanted one in a grey baby tee!
Can't wait to see what more they come up with.

No Doubt!

No Doubt performed live for the first time in five years this morning on the "Today Show" to kick off their summer tour. Gwen Stefani brought it both musically and stylewise with her ska gear wearing Current/Elliott's Dark Cloud Wash Jeans from their Fall 2009 collection. She also wore these jeans before during a cover shoot for Elle Magazine....
Great rocker style but keeping it sexy!

Fashion at the Coachella Music Festival

When checking out the crowd at this year's Coachella Music Festival (April 17 & 18th 2009), you'd almost think we were back in the 70's and 80's with the styles we saw. We saw an influence of the hippie/punk vibe in the denim worn. Lots of ripped jeans, cut off shorts, denim jackets and rompers were big this year. And tons of celebs!

Kate wore a Ksubi Denim Skirt for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs Performance.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens went together, Vaness wore her Siwy Cutoff Camila Denim Shorts with her JJ Winter Multi Zipper Bag.
