Meet The Tom Ford Fashion Show Crashers

A Japanese trio dubbed “The A Girls” have been running around New York Fashion Week being shot at the hottest parties with fashion royalty. They were first picked up by NBC news on a Fashion’s Night Out video, and as the week went on the mystery continued to show up on NYMagazine, the NYPOST, Gawker, and Racked. Their biggest stunt: pulling off sneaking into the uber-exclusive, impossible to get into Tom Ford Fashion Show. The A Girls have crashed the Betsey Johnson After Party, Halston Fashion Show, Tommy Hilfiger 25th Anniversary Party, Juicy Couture Party, Pamela Love Fashion Show and After Party. They have also been photographed mingling with Marc Jacobs, Sarah Jessica Parker, Betsey Johnson, Alexis Bledel, and Johnny Rozs. The A Girls were finally caught when they attempted to crash Tom Ford‘s exclusive runway show. One of the girls claimed to be there for Japanese Vogue editor Mitsuko Watanabe. Afraid that there had been a mistake with the guest list the girls were escorted into the private presentation. With camera’s in hand and no legal privacy contacts to hold them back, the Japanese pop group intended to shoot some of the most coveted photos of fashion week. The A Girls remained at the show for 20 minutes as the room of fashion elite filled. Right before show time, Mitsuko arrived and Tom Ford’s astute publicists quickly realized that there were spies in the room and kicked out the Harijuko hotties.

2011 Spring New York Fashion Week: Michael Kors

Michael Kors let the sun shine in! The mood of his Spring collection is upbeat, beach bright, and polished — all set to the tune of an insane mastermix of "Here Comes the Sun." Model favorites Isabeli Fontana, Carolyn Murphy, Chanel Iman, and Karolina Kurkova looked positively glowing as they strutted their stuff. Kors designed his trademark slouchy-chic pieces in the most luxe fabrics รก la cashmere sweatshirts, linen suits, and leather trench coats. He is the master of relaxed clothes while never having it look sloppy. Big props to the classic use of hot Summer colors — shots of blue, purple, pink, khaki, white, and yellow were radiating from the runway. There were even a few pieces featuring a grassy print!

New York City Fashion Week-Tory Burch

Tory Burch constantly delivers the new classics — collections that introduce something new and edgy, without losing that timeless edge. Her Spring '11 presentation was no exception, only this time she brought a cool '70s vibe to shake things up. Burnt orange, yellow brights, major pinstripes on pants and jackets, a preppy-meets-hippie navy tiered peasant dress, maxi shirt dresses, and crochet details are just a few of the coveted pieces. While her polished sensibility makes its way into the line via metallic belted pencil skirts, printed tees and shorts, and neutrals, it's all so easily wearable — we can't get enough.

Trend Alert: The LPD

The LPD, little pink dress, is in full tilt this season, and we couldn't be happier. See, the trick to pulling off this cute color palette is picking a hue that complements your skin tone. Zoe Saldana opted for a trippy light pink print by Louis Vuitton; Leigh Lezark donned a brighter hue during Paris Fashion Week; while Jessica Alba played around with a soft floral version. All pink, all deliciously pretty.

Nicole Richie Designs New Contemporary Line!

Yay my fav Nicole Richie is starting a line!

Nicole Richie is a new mom again, but that's not stopping her from expanding her fashion empire. Along with House of Harlow 1960 and a maternity line for A Pea in the Pod, she is designing a women's contemporary line called Winter Kate (Harlow's middle names). The 37-piece collection, which was inspired by peacocks and other birds, includes tops, vests, bed jackets, and dresses — mini, long slip-style, and kimono-sleeve maxis.

"Fashion should be accessible. That was my philosophy when designing House of Harlow 1960 and it remains my philosophy for Winter Kate," she said. Prices start at $35 and go up to $598 for leather pieces. Look out for the line in February at stores like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Intermix, and Kitson.

Megan Fox for Armani

We should have known something was up when Megan Fox appeared on the front row next to Cate Blanchett at the Armani Privecouture show in July. Now it has been confirmed that theTransformers star is Giorgio Armani's newest recruit.

Following in the footsteps of the Beckhams, Fox will front the ad campaigns forEmporio Armani Underwear, as well as Armani Jeans. She has been picked, along with soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo (yay!) who will represent men's Emporio Armani Underwear, to be the label's new ambassadors.

Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott last weekend, we will first get to see the ads when they are unveiled in January next year. With her look-a-like now in, I guess Angelina Jolie is definitely out then?

Scarlett Shows Off Mango's Newest Goodies

I can see why Scarlett Johansson's been busy jet-setting around the world to promote her latest ad campaign for Mango. The sexy actress looks sizzling hot showing off the Spanish retailer's array of minidresses, tailored blazers, perfectly ripped sweaters (my fave), and funky tunics. ScarJo's messy short bob has major ferosh factor and works in perfectly with Mango's hip offerings. I can't wait for that jewel-embellished miniskirt to hit stores!

Sonia Rykiel For H&M!

Just in time for Christmas, H&M has announced its latest designer collaboration: Sonia Rykiel for H&M. And for the first time, this collection will be lead by lingerie. The lingerie collection will launch in H&M stores Dec. 5 and — another first — will be available in Sonia Rykiel boutiques around the world. The "Queen of Knits" will then release a second collection featuring an iconic knitwear collection for women and girls as well as playful accessories on Feb. 20, 2010.

"It is a hallmark of Sonia Rykiel to think of all women because fashion is about a certain spirit more than a question of means. This collaboration fits perfectly with our philosophy. The Sonia Rykiel pour H&M lingerie collection is the ideal way to offer the essence of Rykiel to a great number of women around the world, and a beautiful way to close the year. The knitwear collection is perfect for welcoming a colourful new season,” says Nathalie Rykiel, president and artistic director of Sonia Rykiel, in a recent news release. 2010 Spring Milan Fashion Week: Dolce & Gabbana

It was all about passion and romance at Dolce & Gabbana's Spring showing at Milan Fashion Week. Showing utmost creative capability, the designers made a heavenly mix of sexy menswear-inspired suits, lace dresses, floral-printed separates, blouson shorts, and tiered frocks. "[The collection] is sexy, but not too sexy. . . . We're talking about sensuality," said Domenico Dolce. And that they did via bold, leopard prints, scintillating corsets, and a slick play on see-through dressing via black netting and mesh.

LAUREN CONRAD FOR KOHL'S

Personally I don't dig Kohl's...If I need discount shopping I usually had over to my trusted Forever 21 , Joyce Lesile, or Target... but whatever floats your boat... so anyway Lauren Conrad was photographed at the Kate Somerville Emmy Gifting Suite Event in Los Angeles, September 18, mingling with skin expert Somerville while scooping up her luxe products. Lauren, looking polished as always, started with a loose golden tunic (for two similar frocks, try Juicy Couture's Jackie Ruffle Dress in Beausoleil or Ingwa Melero's intricate Charmeause Lotus Mini Dress in Chartreuse - or for similar silhouettes in different shades, check out Velvet's comfortable Charonna Dress in Brown or 12th Street by Cynthia Vincent's absolutely beautiful Beaded Neck Dress in Grey) that she belted (similar to Julie K Handbags' Tess Belt in Golden) and paired with delicate heels, a gold bangle (take a look at Rachel Leigh Jewelry's Sweet Tooth Bangle in Gold) and her signature single hair braid. What are your thoughts on Lauren's look here - basic, yes... but pretty, no?
Lauren was spotted earlier in Santa Monica participating in a Kohl's Department Store-sponsored beach clean up, and I can only assume she was there for one of two reasons. The first, that she actually cares about keeping our beaches clean (she did grow up on the beach in Laguna, after all) - and the second, that she was contractually obliged to be there, due to the fact that she just released her new clothing line at Kohl's.

Lauren tells Us Weekly that her new line is "a little more casual... trying to take that California style and make it accessible everywhere." A rep from the department store added in "We are confident the LC Lauren Conrad collection brings customers both the contemporary style and the world-class brand." While the collection contains mostly skinny jeans, flowy tops, and pretty dresses, do you have any interest in checking it out? Meaning venture into a Kohl's?

Once again Black label delivers an elegant collection, this time offering a series of jackets and suits. Whilst the aesthetic is generally formal, there are a few more casual jackets, no more so than the pink quilted number.
